Overview:<\/h3>\n

In this introductory unit we will offer you a sample of the learning and unlearning experiences that this course will invite you to engage with.<\/p>\n

This unit will give you a better idea of the demands of this course in terms of your time and in terms of the levels of intellectual and affective engagement that will be required.<\/p>\n

The unit consists of an (un)learning bundle involving 8 tasks (this structure will be the same for the 6 weeks of the course).<\/p>\n

2) Complete an exercise:<\/strong><\/td>\nEducation 2048<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3) Read the required text:<\/strong><\/td>\nGlobal citizenship education for VUCA times<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4) Watch the documentary:<\/strong><\/td>\nSchooling the world<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
5) Complete the forest\/city walk exercise<\/strong>:<\/td>\nMonocultures of the mind<\/strong><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6) Reflect on artist practices and pop culture:<\/strong><\/td>\nRestricted imagination and sensibility<\/strong><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7) Complete an assignment:<\/strong><\/td>\nQuestionnaire “Is this course for me?”<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
