Welcome to an Edgar Allan Poe book. Where the wind blows during an obscure night and the cold penetrates the bones and you just know something bad is going to come and get you. But, the main character a Jane Eyre. Independent strong young women who seeks more than just the social life she wants to grow as a person but eventually will fall in love for the wrong guy?
Well, welcome to the new movie of Guillermo del Torro:
Crimson Peak,
It is very different from Hellboy or Pans labyrinth, this time it its softer and sadly the script of story is not very intriguing despite the fact that the idea is original. The author said it was more of a tribute to Victorian age but we do not feel the same excitement watching the movie. It is not scary, the love intrest is not super intresting so it is like a fusion dish that even if both sides taste good the combination was not a winner one. actors are quite good and are renowed for previous work such as Mia wijdj in alice ikn wonderland, Tom hidleston thor and Jessica Chastain Oscar nominee for ajksjdkjjd. There is connection between the actors you can feel the passion between Bko and Hidlestone. You even wish is what just a love story but no you are very fast remembered that you are watching a weird story. I am disappointed from Guillermo, especially after seen the trailer I really though it was a horror movie full of suspense and terror the one you cant sleep at night because you are scared the ghost are real.
Sadly it is not the case, I would not recommend this movie and I truly hope Guillermo comes back to his older style which suited him better.
