The purpose of this site is to educate the public about the impacts of feeding wildlife, especially those who offer food in order to increase the chance of interaction with wildlife or to snap a cool close up photo for Facebook.

While most people who feed wildlife do it with good intentions, it is important to be aware of how feeding wildlife (especially food designated for humans) can have lasting negative impacts on animal populations and the surrounding ecosystem.  This site can act as a source of information to those that want to minimize their impact on wildlife, especially while pursuing recreational activities or going on wildlife viewing tours.
