“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs
In today’s modern society with new innovations and technologies being produced at an ever increasing rate, there is much to be said about the amount of tools we have at our disposal to ensure our success. However, many millennials are sought to be under the impression that in a recovering North American economy, we are limited to whatever jobs are in demand. This could not be further from the truth. I firmly believe that we now live in a new age where the traditional work-life balance needs to be thrown out the window and give rise to the age of the entrepreneur. We’ve all been taught that if you finish post-secondary, it will open the door for you to attain a career working for a firm of your liking. While this did hold true for baby boomers, our reality is a lot different. More jobs are being outsourced than ever before, students are being burdened with financial debt, and last but not least, many of us are unhappy with the false reality that we study in order to work for someone else when we could be fulfilling our own dreams and passion. After all, that is how you change the world! The aforementioned quote speaks immensely to this end because, as Jobs articulates, you have to believe in yourself and stay inspired to a level that might make you seem insane in the eyes of others but as long as you stay true to your beliefs, there is no limit to what you can accomplish. Look no further than your favorite sources of inspiration, whether it be your favorite actor, actress, singer, songwriter, athlete, world leader, philanthropist, family member or friend. Whoever you choose to look at as a success story, they had the belief and did not hinder from it even in the face of adversity. Examples of this are aplenty, source content from Feeling Success provides thousands of instances in which faithful belief took an ordinary individual, like yourself, to an awe inspiring, intellectually equipped difference maker. The truth of the matter is that we all hold that deep rooted belief somewhere within our mind, unleashing it is what will get us to our optimal version of success. So let’s get started.
