Our Goal is to familiarize the audience with a range of notable films in the languages taught in FHIS (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese), providing them with an enjoyable cultural and educational experiences that foster an appreciation for film studies and inspires further learning and research. Film screenings are free and are held for educational purposes. Since not all members of the audience are likely to be able to communicate and understand at an advanced level in the target language, whenever possible films will have English subtitles. On occasions we will have guest speakers including professors and graduate students who will talk about the movies. Everyone is welcome!
