Everyone will critique the same three texts and will choose a fourth critical study or adaptation that represents another approach of your choice. <\/p>\n<p>The four texts are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Michelangelo Antonioni (dir.), <a href=\"http:\/\/viooz.co\/movies\/1738-blow-up-1966.html\" target=\"_blank\">Blow-Up<\/a> (1966)<\/li>\n<li>Seymour Chatman, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/fren512\/files\/2013\/11\/chatman_blow-up.pdf\">&#8220;The Rhetoric of Difficult Fiction: Cort\u00e1zar&#8217;s &#8216;Blow-Up'&#8221;<\/a>. <em>Poetics Today<\/em> 1.4, <em>Narratology II: The Fictional Text and the Reader<\/em> (Summer 1980): 23-66<\/li>\n<li>David Musselwhite, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/fren512\/files\/2013\/11\/musselwhite_phantasm.pdf\">&#8220;Death and the Phantasm: A Reading of Julio Cort\u00e1zar&#8217;s &#8216;Babas del Diablo'&#8221;<\/a>. <em>Romance Studies<\/em> 18.1 (June 2000): 57-68.<\/li>\n<li>An article or other text of your choice.
