Well I have finished my Moodle course site. When I say “finished” I do not mean that I am 100% satisfied with my first 2 modules, but in my teaching experience that is what makes us teachers; we are never finished fixing, tweaking, revamping, adding and starting from scratch. By finished of course I mean I have included all of the requirements for the assignment and I think I have even conquered the selective release as best as Moode will allow me to do. (I’m sure I’ll still be adding things right until Sunday at midnight. : )

If anyone has some time have a look through my Moodle course site and let me know what you think. 

Module 1 and 2 are my completed modules, with Module 2 making use of a couple of tools to allow for selective release of the module components.  Students can access the introduction and the notes but will not be able to begin work until the date that the activities are set to open.  There are discussions on the Splash page as well as two that are included in the modules.

All-in-all it has been a great experience, not only the chance to work with Moodle but to do do so with the support of the everyone in ETEC565.    An opportunity that I will reflect on in the months to come as our school district moves to Moodle as our first LMS.
