Hope all is well. We enjoy your blog!

Bill and I have been drafting plans to go for a visit. Looks like late Feb early March would work best for us. We were hoping to catch a cruise from Rio to Santiago before going; no dates/itinerary seem to work. Maybe that was overly ambitious. So we are re-thinking our itinerary. We (well… I) would like to take a Gap adventure to Machu Picchu and the Amazon, out of Lima and also visit you guys. It seems we should do the southernmost part of the trip first to take advantage of better weather in the late summer (February). You may have totally different views. We welcome your comments. We have not been able to see flights on line from Vancouver to Quito nor from Lima to Quito… as if Quito was off the map. You suggestions are welcome.

Great blog – beautiful photos! I was wondering what Christmas would be like down there. Have a great old year’s night and super new year! I’m in Toronto at the moment visiting my new nephew, then back to Vangoober for the new year.
