Subject: Memo: Formal Report Proposal for Improving Road Safety in West Vancouver Residential Area

Per the instructions in module 2.1, I have completed the formal report proposal and posted it on my respective team forum, Team SJGG. I have also attached a copy to this email memo. 

The proposal includes the following:

Audience: Showng the purpose and intention of the proposal by having a targeted audience that is capable of resolving the issue.

Introduction: Provides background information on Canada and West Vancouver’s speed limits and the usage of speed detectors.  

Statement of Problem: Point out the problem of speeding and its potential negative impact on West Vancouver.  

Proposed Solution: Introducing speed cameras as a countermeasure to speeding by highlighting their effectiveness while presenting an alternative method for contrast.

Scope: Defining the scope of the speed camera with possible concerns. 

Method: Online survey directed to Vancouver instead of only West Vancouver for a border sample size and different perspectives. 

Qualifications: My background as a West Vancouver resident, a responsible driver, and a concerned citizen. 

Conclusion: Further reinforcing the effectiveness of speed cameras and their necessity.
