About this project
I started researching queer homeless youth in the summer of 2010 after reading about their high percentage rate in British Columbia’s young street population. What began as an interrogation of statistics and identity categories resulted in my learning the stories of four men who had, at one time or another in their lives, been without a home. I am extremely grateful to them for sharing their stories with me.
This online project was completed as a partial requirement for the Masters of Journalism program at the University of British Columbia. To learn more about me, please visit my website.
