I’m not sure if any of y’all are being bombarded by midterms/papers week but I know I have. I apologize in advance for my very rough draft. I ran out of time and only managed to look to compare my region to Freedom House, there will be more comparisons in the final draft. Anything is better than nothing eh?

1) Make sure you explain why you are focusing solely on Coppedge-Reinecke and Freedom House and not the other four datasets. Why do these two datasets best represent measurements of democracy in Central America?
2) Your analysis of the countries under Freedom House is excellent! However focusing on all the countries takes an enormous amount of your word count. Tyr cutting out a couple countries and focus on comparing just two or three. State why you chose them and why they provide the most interesting data from the datasets. Maybe try focusing on the Free countries or Partly Free countries and assess their differences but why they got the same ranking.
3) You point out some limits of Freedom House in their data measurements. Do other datasets account for these limits (the law in Belize, coups in the countries, money laundering)?
4) Great research on the countries and support. It looks good so far!
