6: HYBRIDIZATION
The morning temperature was 17 degrees Celsius, by the time I got off work it was 5 degrees Celsius.
Brian kept following me around today, and it’s hard to look professional when you have a kid tailing you everywhere you go.
He was really clumsy, he spilled some cancer patients’ blood palate samples because he dropped the falcon tube. I feel like the work that I’m assigned to doesn’t need the help of another summer student. Chira showed me the steps for hybridization in a slower pace, I can’t wait until I can do this without any supervision.
Chira said she’ll be leaving Canada in July, so I’ll be taking over the experiment by myself.
Do you trust me that much to carry on your experiment?
Ludgar said there would be times where it is necessary to come in on weekends to finish your experiment. I can set my own time for work, so as long as I get the work done, it doesn’t matter when I go in lab.
The weekend is coming up, I want to walk around Winnipeg. Soak in all the “Peg” pride before I’m stuck in labs on weekends.
