As a back stage performer

Everyday, every hour, and every second, Science is stepped forward by scientists and researchers all over the world. That refers to an academic competition to discover something new and useful.

On the other side of the scientific main stages, we are acting as one of the back stage performers to support their projects. Of course, we are proud of being a back stage performer to cooperate with the main casts.

The Genotyping is a key technique to analyze DNA sequence and its code to identify humans’ or animals’ genetic back ground. This technique is still growing the popularity for the molecular biology field and promising to the future.

The Genotyping Facility is located in the Biomedical Research Centre on the UBC campus. We have been providing the PCR-based Genotyping Services to all the researchers nationwide since 2004.
