Your presentation should be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant<\/li>\n<li>Objective<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration:\u00a0<\/strong>You \u00a0should\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0work\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0together\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0with\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0your\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0fellow\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0panelists\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0to\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0ensure\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0that\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0panel\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0presentations\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0are\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0coherent\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0and complementary\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0(relate\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0to\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0one\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0another,\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0but\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0do\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0not\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0overlap).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Slide deck:<\/strong> Please submit your slides to Dr. Bakker one day before the presentation, by 5 pm. Collate the slides of all of the presenters in order, with their names. Dr. Bakker will upload the slides to the class website. On the day of the presentation, please bring a laptop that you can use to show the presentation.\u00a0Powerpoint Presentation (see UBC Guide for Presentations <a href=\"https:\/\/students.ubc.ca\/career\/career-resources\/presentation-skills\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Length of presentation: 4<\/strong>\u00a0minutes pre-prepared; <strong>4<\/strong> minutes &#8220;free style&#8221; answering questions. (8 minutes total)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Handout: \u00a0<\/strong>One\u2010page\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0single\u00ad\u2010spaced\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0handout\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0per\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0person,\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0summarizing\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0key\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0points.\u00a0Please include\u00a0 references\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0consulted on a second page (typically students cite between 10 and 15 references). This handout must be produced with simple yet high quality graphic design; I recommend getting a free account on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/templates\/\">Canva.com<\/a> (this website provides free templates into which it is easy to add your content).
