The map produced here is a Multi-Criteria Evaluation map for most areas of York Region that shows the economic vitality for each dissemination area. A couple of dissemination areas are blank due to null values from the original dataset. Suitability for each variable ranged from 1 to 100, resulting in the MCE with a range of 25 to 89.50. The map shows high economic vitality for a majority of the York Region, with clusters of dissemination areas with low economic vitality south of Vaughan and throughout Markham. Most of the high economic vitality areas are located outside of the city area in the suburbs, as these are large dissemination areas.
