He has a number of appointments, which are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science<\/li>\n<li>Professor, Comparative Biology &amp; Experimental Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine<\/li>\n<li>University Veterinarian and Head, Animal Health Unit, Vice President Research Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While at UBC, Dr. Morck will be working in the Gibson Lab, participating in research on microbiota 16SrRNA gene amplification, sequencing and data management, conducting microbiome analyses, and participating in workshops and seminars.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Morck\u2019s research interests are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Veterinary Infectious Disease<\/li>\n<li>Antibiotic Resistance<\/li>\n<li>Inflammation<\/li>\n<li>Immuno-modulation by Antibiotics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Douglas Morck \u00a0is working with the Gibson Lab as a\u00a0Visiting Professor.
