Hey Georgia, I completely agree with two of your points: writing by hand feels freer and also a lot more physical. When it came to making mistakes, I did the same as you and just crossed them out. I was wondering, did you find when you paused to look up some spellings online that it broke the flow a bit or was it easy to recover your creative streak afterwards?
