New UBC Arts Courses

This is a apparently not news, but I figured it if I missed it, so could have you. Here is a list of the new UBC Arts courses, specializations and streams – hidden on the most recent CASS Update e-mail, at least if you have Hotmail, because you always have to choose to extend the message past your screen because they are mega wide.

Anyway, there are a couple of extremely interesting choices on their that make me wish I didn’t have so many requisites to complete. My parents work in land development and architecture, and the fact that there is a new Sustainability by Design course open for Arts students I can’t take is kind o killing me. It’s news to me that Arts students can take ENDS courses at all.

It also looks like there is quite a few new courses in languages and a couple in First Nations Studies, Visual Arts and Religion Studies, so if that’s your thing, make sure you skim that page before starting class in a few weeks.

A heads up to anyone who does take a look at the page, though – don’t get your hopes up over the Topics in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities (ASTU 204A) class – if you take a look on the SSC it’s already been cancelled.
