Basically this librarian says that he heard three things: 1) Information literacy pendulum is going to experience a backlash and what he calls the “info lit fatigue syndrome”; 2) Reference as we know it is dead; 3) Users don’t care about learning how to search. Their philosophy is “One box, many results, some relevant – works for me”.
