The Bike Rack issue above about distinguishing between grad students and faculty has been very thought provoking. People’s comments about the value of bringing faculty together with grad students in training events have been really interesting to me, and I really think it could do a lot to create/strengthen a “culture of teaching”.
Glad you’re having fun! I’m interested in the variety of ways I’ve heard of mentoring happening, including interdisciplinary mentors for grad students.
