Deep Kaur
Deep Kaur is a K-12 Science and Math educator in British Columbia and a graduate student in the Master of Education Technology program at The University of British Columbia. She earned a Bachelor’s in Education (Physics major) and Masters in Physics. Prior to this she worked as a physics instructor in an Engineering College in India. With the help of educational technology and in-depth understanding of learning theories she aims to improve the blended learning experience, to help students with learning differences, and to improve the efficiency of her own teaching practice. She is interested in brain-based education and research and her long term goal is to do a Ph.D. in the field of neuroscience and its application in education.
Sayali
Sayali is a Science and Life Skills teacher in Bharat Vidyalay, a school catering solely to underprivileged students in Wai, India. She is a graduate student in the Master of Education Technology program at The University of British Columbia. She plans to use constructivism as a medium for making inquiry based education available to her students, especially since technology have started being affordable even in the rural pockets of India. Apart from teaching, her interests include theatre, music and dance.
