H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package and there are 40 + different interactive content types available, including multiple choice questions, video with an interactive quizzes, memory games, image hotspots and others.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a few ways to use H5P. Users can either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reuse existing interactive elements,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>edit and reuse existing interactive elements; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>create their own H5P interactive element.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This short video provides a highlevel overview of H5P:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/h5p.org\/h5p\/embed\/6565\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" allow=\"geolocation *; microphone *; camera *; midi *; encrypted-media *\" title=\"H5P Intro Video\" width=\"800\" height=\"675\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><script src=\"https:\/\/h5p.org\/sites\/all\/modules\/h5p\/library\/js\/h5p-resizer.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why use H5P?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why include H5P interactive elements in your teaching and learning materials?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cognitive load theories support that using multimedia (multiple modes) aligns with the way that our brains function during the learning process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ACTIVE \u200blearning: Learners doing things are engaged learners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HP5 works for blended\/online course content because<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is well suited for independent asynchronous learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It capitalizes on curiosity and exploratory approach to learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is useful to \u201cchunk\u201d information to help learners process and remember complex or difficult concepts better<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It improves engagement.
