To be honest, I don’t like Pizza Hut, but I do like to eat the pizza which is cooked by me.This Saturday, I went to Superstore to buy the flour, butter, cheese, garlic, cream, and shrimp, just everything I like to put into the pizza. I mixed an egg and butter into the flour, and left the dishes for about 2 hours. Then, I cleaned the mushroom and garlic, so that I could cut them into piece and piece, and mixed them in a box. Next, I sprinkled some oil on a middle sized pan, and put the mixed paste on it. Then, I used my birthday gift- a big crystal ball to press the paste reach the pan’s edge, so that I could get a rounded and well-proportioned pizza model. Then I moved the model out of the pan to a dish, and used fork to dig some hole. Moreover, I spread all cheese, and other things I liked to eat on the pizza. Finally, I use microwave to cook it for 10 minutes, and then bake for 5 minutes. Its quick and economic. Only took my 20 minutes to finish my favorable pizza. A very Chinese style pizza

Several weeks ago, i saw a newspaper which said the value of Apple’s brain exceeds CNPC (China Petrochemical Corporation). At first, i was confused that how the paper use Apple’s brain to compare with the energy of CNPC. However, when i finished reading the article, i knew that the market value of Apple exceeded CNPC’s in the world and reaches to No. 3 World’s most valuable company.

As we know, Apple concentrates on the advanced technology. It developed nano, mac, iphone, and ipad. All of these products contain a highly advanced technology. Moreover, Apple’s management didnot only sell their products, they but also spend a lot of money and labour on developing those technologies. Every year, Apple will  have new products to attract customers, and stop the production of models. More and more people are buying and using Apple’s products, especially young generations. Thus, Apple occupies a large proportion of IT market share. It goes without saying that its market value will go up.

CNPC is the largest energy corporation in the world. Due to the larget population in China and government’s regulation, CNPC used to be the worlds second most valuable corporation. CNPC control’s all the petro, gas and other energy products in China, and some other Asian countires. However, through my experience, the management of CNPC only aim to profits and self-complacency. They never care the benefits of public. Those staffs in the company usually use the compenstaion resource as much as possible. Furthermonre, nobody in CNPC cares about innovation, new product technology. It goes without saying that its marekt value will falls down. If there is no government regulation, it must bankrupt with one month.

I do not suggest people buy CNPC’s stock.

Today, i will talk about something i experienced during my former employer chose to open a new manufacturing plant.

3 years ago, my former employer wished to open a new plant in north- east of China. He is from America. Originally, he had already own one factory in Suzhou which was close to Shanghai. As we know, Shanghai is a large city with a full size population. The CPI in Shanghai is relatively high if we compare to other developed cities. Moreover, Chinese government redesign the labour law to ensure workers basic benefits. Many cities increase their basic wage line. Furthermore, in order to save engergy, Chinese government set the laws to restrict some energy industries’ development like Coal，iron which provide a large portion of raw materials. Thus, the raw materials for some industires increases fastly. Overall, all these changes in macroeconomy push my former boss to consider moving the plant to another place in China which may require low labour cost. Finally, he was successfully find a city which wish to accept his plant and promise him for three years tax free. So, he was happy with the result and has already moved there 2 years ago.

From my point of view,  it is a good way to find a place which can low the manufacturing cost, because the difference is all belong to the profits. However, it is very difficult to manage a factory internationally, because we have to face culture difference, different law regulations. My former boss always had to spend a lot of money on training new workers. Furtunately, he was a Chinese speaking America. Thus, he can communicate with his Chinese staff.

When my friends and i celebrated the Chinese mid-autumn Festival in a hot pot restaurant last night, i suddenly found that i had been a sales for four years till yesterday.

Without saying, life during the first year sales was difficult. First of all, let me introduce my situation. I was 18 years old 4 years ago and just graduated from high school. My english was really poor at that time, and i never worked before. My job was selling generators.  Although i was a sales person, i had some pecial executive power in the company due to the relationship with the boss. My primary responsibility was to help manage the sales in Africa and Middle East. As we know, different countires have different culture, especially in my responsible area. In order to keep a intimate relationship with our customers and get their interest, i have to use different  dialect during the communication with our customer. For example, Nigerian customer perfer other people call them ” yi:’gui”, because it represent Chief, or people who has power or rich. Thus, i spent a lot of time  on studying those language. Fortunately, it  worked very well. When i joined the Chinese Import & Export Fair, i got 5 big orders from 5 customers successfully. Knowing our customers culture and interest is an important way to be succeeded in business. Moreover, i also found it was a good way to join some business fair to promote products. At least, it works through my own experience. Marketing research for specific situation is very essential and useful. It can show customers’ interest, market price, place, product and promotion.  Managers can make decisions which are based on marketing report. It is effective and accurate. However, we can not ignore the high cost for markeing research, and the timing problem. Usually, it is very costly for small private enterprise to hire a marketing group. And they may not have the whole systems as starbucks has. 

Time to eat, i will continue to post my new perspectives related to marketing from my past experience. Good night
