Let me introduce my academic and professional interests briefly.<\/p>\n

Before mentioning my current interests, I would like to write about my career so far. I have studied language and Advertising for my first bachelor’s degree. After getting the degree, I worked in a marketing research company. I had chance to collect and analyze data. During the working experience, I got interested in not just analyzing data by my insight, but in more objective ways using machine learning and big data. To extend my career for my interest, I learned Python by myself.<\/p>\n
However, I got interested in Python and programming language itself. As my interest got specified more to language itself and making programs, I made a mobile application. Once I tried to use mobile application for recording the books I read, but I could not find any applications that perfectly fits for me. Therefore, I attempted to make one myself. To tell the consequence of the trial, I finally made one that works but it was not what I expected. It was impossible to make the application I wanted with my knowledge and experience. Still, the experience was valuable for me since I could make my mind to learn more about computer science.<\/p>\n
Now I am learning computer science for my second degree in UBC. I took only a few courses, but it was very interesting as I could learn now language, but way of thinking systematically and making good algorithm for purpose. I am glad I have two more years to learn computer science in UBC, and I want to learn about good algorithm more academically. Professionally, I am interested in making a good service in healthcare sector, especially in form of mobile application.<\/p>\n
