This is the term project of ENDS 221 SUSTAINABILITY by DESIGN. The aim of the project is to think as a real regional designer and design a region which can not only provide jobs for a large population, but also more sustainable. The first image is the region that our team design, and the second one is a larger area designed by the entire class. During the process of design, I learnt how to allocate commercial center in order to reach most people’s need efficiently and how to design transportation line so that more people will choose public transit. I decided my major after taking this course.
