My name is Han Wu and I am a third year student in Faculty of Arts, Economic Program. I tend to minor in geography.

After two years study life in university, I am happy now that I do know what interests me most, and I am proud to say that I am going to do some research in the intersection of economics and environment.

I have been doing volunteer in an environment-protect organization trying to stop Kinder Morgan pipeline. Yet during my volunteer experience in this organization, I found that although our current living environment is strongly threaten by the demand of developing economics, many people still weigh economic benefit higher than environmental sustainability.

Now I am working towards a graduate study on urban design. I wish that I can apply the knowledge I learnt in economics and geography into designing regional area which is both sustainable to environment and human. Hopefully I can make my own contribution to solve the problems that development causes to the environment.
