We\u2019re planning to hold our first \u2018Thematic Focus Group\u201d on Zoom in the week of November 9-13, and will provide an honorarium of $25 to each participant.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-884\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/hardwork\/files\/2020\/10\/Computer.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"192\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The topic<\/strong> is about multi-tasking and boundaries. In our previous interviews, a number of you told us that working or studying can also involve social time. Or you may try to study when you\u2019re working (especially around mid-terms). In other words, work, school, and other activities may blend together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019d like to hear more about \u201ctime blend\/ time bleed\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How interwoven are different parts of your life (e.g. school, work and leisure);<\/li>\n<li>Is it by choice; and<\/li>\n<li>How do you feel about it?<\/li>\n<li>Plus, during COVID-19, do you feel the boundaries are blurring even more (since your bedroom may now be your Zoom room)?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 2020 Focus Group Our Hard Working Student project is still running and we\u2019d like to hear how this year is going for you, and how it\u2019s different from last year.
