Zach Berman and Ryan Slater came up with the idea to sell juice on their yearlong backpacking trip. Through their idea the Juice Truck emerged. Zach and Ryan became entrepreneurs and established the first mobile juice and smoothie bar in Canada. They were able to see an increasing trend among larger cities like New York or L.A. towards juice and healthy living and they were able to work on it. What is inspiring is that they are local entrepreneurs and that they have become successful in such a short period of time because they have been recognized by several different sources. The juice being on a truck allows it to be a storefront and an on-the-go catering business for events. They were able to notice a trend and become the first on in the market. This gives them market power as well as the ability to shape the mobile juice market in Canada.
