- July 2010 – August 2010 ” Eastern Social Welfare Society” (Seoul, Korea)
I worked at Eastern social welfare society during the summer vacation in 2010. The society was established to give a hand for those who were abandoned by their parents at a young age, children born with disabilities. I translatd letters from adoptive parents to organization and sent emails on ‘Children news’ to sponsors. Sometimes, I took abandoned babies to hospital for health check-up before adoption. I was pleasure to lovely babies finding their new family.
- June 2010 – July 2010 ” Habitat “ ( Yangpyeong-gun, Korea)
Have you heared Habitat ? Habitat is a international organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness. I also participated in Habitat as a volunteer to give a family in need the key to their new house. I get an impression from their goals, because families who own house themselves invest their labor into building and also volunteer to improve the lives of others. I believe that it makes homeless people become independent. Donors,individuals, and organization contribute cash and material for this project. I met people came from various countries and learned how to cooperate with our team members working for a common goal.
