Agastache cana
mosquito plant
Lamiaceae
Characteristics: Stacked rings of soft-flamingo-pink tubular flowers (a likeable, non-obnoxious pink). Persistent calyxes are somewhat of a red-lavender colour. Leaf aroma wards off mosquitoes! A fairly pleasant smell with a hint of gasoline/rubber/licorice. Very attractive. Upright form
Growing conditions: Sun, well-drained soil. Suitable near a patio if there’s a mosquito problem.
Limitations: Good to go!
