Characteristics: Feather-like plumes, pink/pruple iridescent inflorescences. Inlforescences last 3-4 month  A good size – 50 cm tall by 65-70cm across. Pennisetum refers to feathers (i.e. feather grass). Smaller than other Pennisetums.

Growing conditions: Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Clump forming- squeezes out weeds. Very reliable, tough.

Limitations: No serious limitations.
