It demonstrates the African highlands most notably: Ethiopian Highlands. Highlands are typically colder at night then the low lands and collect less water as they have no natural basin (1). Although, global warming has allowed for an increase in temperature conducive to malaria transmission (1).

This is an image I captured while at Toronto’s Honda Indy. I’ve always found racing to be a difficult sport to understand due to its environmental impact. The racers have to fly to a multitude of cities and have their cars driven there in large trailers. They then use extravagant amounts of oil and a fleet of tires. I believe it to be a very westernized sport that relies heavily on fossil fuels. Not a light environmental impact I imagine, but hey its in the family.
