Over the year I add different elements of colour theory to our art lessons. I start with tints. Light to Dark , starting with a white circle and adding a little more colour – in this case blue, each time painting a line a round to make a larger circle.
A city scape in silhouette adds contrast and narrative to the composition.
We used the same technique for our Remembrance Day art, this time, the poppy field foreground adding the , poppies getting smaller into the distance. We used ukelele boxes to make this composition.
