Hello and welcome to my blog.

My name is Hyesun Kim and this blog is my final project for EDCP 305.

EDCP 305 explores curriculum and pedagogy from an arts-based, technological perspective. We explore creative application software by using Macintosh environment. In order to understand media generally, I have explored GarageBand, iPhoto, and WordPress by using Macintosh computer.

In my BLOG, there are:

1) A song made by GarageBand– GarageBand is a recording studio and a mac-size practice space. GarageBand is very useful if you wanted to learn to play an instrument, write music, or record a song.I wrote a follow up guideline for you about how to use GarageBand. Also, I have created one song by GarageBand called “Friends and Memories”.

2) iPhoto Slideshow about ME– iPhoto is where you can organize, browse, edit, and share your photos. I have made one brief slideshow about me. It is a brief overview of me since the graduation from my high school.

3) PHOTOS– I think blog is the space where people share things with others. So, I posted five photos that briefly talks more about me.

4)PHOTOSHOP– is graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is a program used to enlarge, resize, modify and print digital photo picture enlargements, artwork or  fine art to a digital printer. I have attached little tutorial about basic tools in photoshop from YouTube. Also, I have attached handout about lesson on introduction to photoshop tools.

5) REFLECTIONS– There are three reflections that I posted in my blog, which are my autobiographical essay, ideas inspired through reading the Fluency in General Music and Arts Technologies, and reading The Future of Music Making and Music Education in a Digital Transformative World.

6) YouTube Videos– I have posted five YouTube videos related to music media and by clicking to my page on YouTube Videos, you will see posted videos with my comments about why I posted them.
