Welcome to my Web Folio!

My name is Ian and I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Geology at The University of British Columbia (UBC). My expected graduation date is April 2017. Enrolling in the Geology program has been an excellent decision for me, as my passion for hard rock Geology has increased year to year, and the program has allowed me to meet and work with some extraordinary classmates and professors.

In summer 2016, I worked in a mineral exploration camp for Barkerville Gold Mines. My primary duties included geologic mapping, rock sampling, and soil sampling. In October 2016, the company announced that the exploration work helped identify a 60 Kilometer Long Gold Bearing Structural Break. The press release can be found here.

After graduation, I plan to seek employment that continues to advance my career in mineral exploration:
