1. To learn about the principles of pharmacokinetics research

2. To learn about, and if possible, get hands on experience in grant application and reviewing journal paper submission

3. To get some publications out of this rotation (pharmacogenetics, morphine metabolites)

1. To consolidate my therapeutic process (e.g. goals of therapy, DRP identification, therapeutic alternatives, therapeutic plan and monitoring)

2. To develop competency and confidence in physical examination and incorporate it as part of my patient work-up

3. To be well-versed in pertinent landmark literature for internal medicine

4. To be pro-active in patient care
