Critical Education is interested in theoretical and empirical research as well as articles that advance educational practices that challenge the existing state of affairs in society, schools, and informal education.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ojs.library.ubc.ca\/index.php\/workplace\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-289 alignleft\" title=\"bascomhall150contrast3x2\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ices\/files\/2012\/03\/bascomhall150contrast3x2-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/ojs.library.ubc.ca\/index.php\/workplace\" target=\"_blank\">Workplace: A Journal for Academic Labor<br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong><\/em><em><a href=\"http:\/\/ojs.library.ubc.ca\/index.php\/workplace\" target=\"_blank\">Workplace<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>founded in 1998, is a refereed, open access journal published by the Institute for Critical Education Studies (ICES) and\u00a0a collective of scholars in critical university studies, or critical higher education, promoting dignity and integrity in academic work.
