Dr. Kendall Ho – Director, Digital Emergency Medicine
Dr. Kendall Ho is an associate professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Faculty of Medicine, Digital Emergency Medicine (digEM). Dr. Kendall Ho also practices clinically at the Vancouver General Hospital. As the Director of Digital Emergency Medicine his research interests are focused on digital health – the innovative application and evaluation of modern information and communication technologies in health research, education, and practice. Dr. Kendall Ho actively works with colleagues at UBC and partnering institutions to incorporate digital health into the medical curriculum, and introduce digital health at the pre-medicine level, Masters level, and in high schools during summer camps. He actively participates in collaborations with the World Health Organization (WHO), global digital health observatory, and is appointed as a board member of the Canadian Health Informatics Association (COACH) and the Canadian Virtual Health Library. He is also a member of the Association of Faculties of Medicine digital health Education Committee, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Professional Development Committee.
