The International Conference on Salish and Neighbouring Languages (ICSNL) 55 will begin this Thursday. We are excited to welcome you for our first virtual conference. If you have not registered yet, please complete the (quick) registration form here.
Registration is free and we really hope you’ll join us on August 13th, 14th, and 15th.
You will need to register in advance to access the Zoom links. Presenters, volunteers, and chairs should fill this out as well. (If you are a presenter and have not received an email from Marianne Huijsmans yet with information, please let us know.)
As a friendly reminder, many of the presentations are based on the papers in the precedings volume (available here). The tradition of the conference is that papers are circulated in advance, and while many presenters will provide a full presentation, others may choose to just take questions on their papers. We recommend that you take a look at papers in advance.
Anyone who would like to provide an update during the Language Program Reports session on Friday morning should plan to arrive 10 minutes early (9:50AM) to check-in. This session will be chaired by Thomas Jones and has been coordinated by Donna Gerdts. (Thank you!).
The schedule for this year’s conference can be found here. This link has been recently updated, so please check whether you have the most recent schedule, and if not, refer to the version currently available!
Also, please note that the first talk of Saturday morning’s session has been moved to 11:30 PST. Otherwise we are keeping the schedule as planned.
