Week 12- 03.26

For this week, I’ve thought that since we will all be thinking around the same ideas, we might as well share parts of the process.

Thus as I go on creating some work (hopefully more than one), I will also share some of the questions I use as guidance. I invite everyone to post their own (I imagine here I am covering some general ones). We can all go on creating our own responses to some of them, whether our own or others’. I will also post whatever responses I come up.

This is just an invitation, you may choose to work on your own. In any case, I think it will be an interesting experience for those who choose to be part of this.

Here are my first questions.

  • What is artificial intelligence?
  • How to define it visually? / How would it look?
  • Colors?
  • Shapes?
  • Time / Rhythm?
  • Cold, Warm?

    My depiction of artificial intelligence and the merging of technology and humanity encompasses the idea that technology is speed. It has changed the way we subjectively experience time, which makes our objective world seem to be moving quickly. There is a rhythm to it that is repetitive – combined with the glitches the motion symbolizes humanity’s trial and error in this respective field. The glitch squares being the obstacles that artificial intelligence has experienced throughout the course of its progression.
