In this blog presentation you will have the opportunity to engage in a discussion of play, imagination, and creativity and their impact on the individual and society with an eye to our role as teachers in the digital age.
Let’s start with introductions. You know who the guy on the right is… the rest of us are introduced on the Who Are We? page.
Our blogsentation is organized around the prezi “Play, Imagination, and Creativity…What Would Vygotsky Say?”. It is your key to navigating and participating. Before you begin, make sure your speakers are on and once you start the prezi use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to move through it from beginning to end; there are some surprises you won’t want to miss!
You’ll have the opportunity to participate by posting your thoughts and ideas using Popplet, Padlet and Poll Everywhere. Login and password information will be provided when you need them. We recommend you view the Prezi through the blog without enlarging it; navigating the hyperlinks will work better.
You’ll be able to monitor these conversations using the separate page for each task.
You can also post questions, ideas, and comments directly to the blogsentation at the bottom each page.
We hope you will visit several times during the week. You’ll get more out of the conversations if you do.
And now feel free to get yourself a cup of coffee, you know where the washrooms are, and we’ll begin.
Thank you for completing the tasks associated with our blogsentation on play, imagination, and creativity. Please consider monitoring the task conversations and returning to keep the talk flowing.
Until then… from Brett, Marie-Astrid and Don
