Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n

Congratulations on launching the National Oral Health Research Strategy (NOHRS) at the Canadian Oral Health Summit today (June 21st, 2024).\u00a0 A significant milestone for our dental, oral, and craniofacial researchers in Canada and for the health of all Canadians!\u00a0 Of course, after successful execution of your research strategy, your findings will have global implications. The new Canadian dental care plan and the NOHRS are very much in line with the WHO\u2019s Global Oral Health Action Plan.<\/p>\n

Delighted that IADR is represented at the oral health summit through all of our CADR members, our IADR North American Regional Board Member, Olga Baker, and our two editors, Jocelyne Feine and Nick Jakubovics.<\/p>\n

A sincere thanks from the IADR Board on this important launch. Enjoy the rest of the summit and I hope this US northeast heat wave hasn\u2019t reached Halifax.<\/p>\n

F\u00e9licitations pour le lancement de la Strat\u00e9gie nationale de recherche sur la sant\u00e9 buccodentaire, qui s\u2019est tenu le 21\u00a0juin \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du Sommet canadien sur la sant\u00e9 buccodentaire! Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 d\u2019une \u00e9tape importante pour favoriser la sant\u00e9 de toute la population canadienne et appuyer les chercheurs dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9 buccodentaire et craniofaciale au Canada. Les r\u00e9sultats qui d\u00e9couleront de la mise en \u0153uvre de la Strat\u00e9gie auront sans aucun doute des retomb\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale. Je tiens \u00e0 ajouter que le nouveau R\u00e9gime canadien de soins dentaires et la Strat\u00e9gie nationale de recherche sur la sant\u00e9 buccodentaire se conforment pleinement au Plan d\u2019action mondial pour la sant\u00e9 bucco-dentaire de l\u2019Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Je suis ravi que l\u2019Association internationale de recherches buccodentaires et craniofaciales\u00a0(IADR) soit repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au Sommet canadien sur la sant\u00e9 buccodentaire par l\u2019entremise de tous les membres de l\u2019Association canadienne de recherches dentaires, d\u2019Olga\u00a0Baker (membre du comit\u00e9 de la r\u00e9gion de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord de l\u2019IADR) ainsi que de Jocelyne\u00a0Feine et de Nick\u00a0Jakubovics (r\u00e9dacteurs en chef \u00e0 l\u2019IADR).<\/p>\n

Au nom du conseil d\u2019administration de l\u2019IADR, je tiens \u00e0 vous remercier sinc\u00e8rement pour votre apport \u00e0 cet important lancement, et je vous invite \u00e0 bien profiter des prochaines activit\u00e9s du Sommet.
