Not this time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Iv_Aym8gW2Q\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-134 aligncenter\" title=\"Harry Potter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/imtomas\/files\/2010\/10\/hp2-1024x466.jpg\" alt=\"Magic can't make us 3D!?\" width=\"500\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/imtomas\/files\/2010\/10\/hp2-1024x466.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/imtomas\/files\/2010\/10\/hp2-300x136.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/imtomas\/files\/2010\/10\/hp2.jpg 1472w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Recently Warner Brothers announced that the next Harry Potter will not be shown in\u00a0theaters in 3D\u00a0as they had promised earlier. \u00a0Now this might come as a disappointment to some, but for everyone else, this is great news!<\/p>\n<p>You see, Harry Potter and \u00a0the Deathly Hallows (parts 1 and 2) were shot using conventional 2D technology, as opposed to being shot with specific cameras for 3D. \u00a0This next Harry Potter&#8217;s footage would have to be converted in order to be considered &#8220;3D&#8221;. \u00a0Well, as it turns out, this process takes a lot longer than Warner Brothers expected, and they decided to pull the plug because they &#8220;were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This is great news because it shows that they actually care about the value they give their very dedicated Potter fans. \u00a0Harry Potter&#8217;s huge fan base = lots of money. \u00a0Instead of making more profit by releasing a 3D version of this movie (3D movie tickets cost more than normal movie tickets), Warner has decided not to disappoint and ruin Harry Potter&#8217;s fans&#8217; experience.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.1667px;\">Warner Brother&#8217;s Clash of the Titans last year, which was also converted from 2D to 3D, was severely criticized for having characters look like &#8220;cardboard cutouts on the screen.&#8221; \u00a0It was just rushed. \u00a0Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, however, is still slated for a 3D release next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 24px; font-size: 14.1667px;\">Not having enough time again prior to this Harry Potter&#8217;s release, it&#8217;s great to see that Warner Brothers is putting quality first this time. \u00a0(Either that or they don&#8217;t want to make the same mistake again.) \u00a0Haha<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>Want to watch the latest Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part 1 trailer?<br \/>\nClick on the image above!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently Warner Brothers announced that the next Harry Potter will not be shown in\u00a0theaters in 3D\u00a0as they had promised earlier. \u00a0Now this might come as a disappointment to some, but for everyone else, this is great news!
