In community building, a &#8220;third place&#8221; refers to a place of gathering outside of the first place, home, and the second place, work. The name Third Space reflects the intent &#8211; a &#8220;space&#8221; in which third place-making can occur through gathering over time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This design pursues inclusivity through specificity, creating a series of interconnected, memorable gathering spaces each characterized by purposeful differences in scale, material, planting, and program.
