About

About the Infant Sleep Study

Getting enough sleep is important to keep both parents and their babies healthy. This is often especially concerning for new parents because each infant’s sleep pattern is different, depending on their age and personality.

Because of this, it is important to deliver empirically-backed strategies for effective infant sleep to families. At the UBC Social Health Lab , we are interested in investigating new methods for improving infant sleep and communicating this information to the community.

Who is involved in this project?

The interdisciplinary team of investigators includes Dr. Frances Chen, Marlise Hofer, and Jennifer Phan from the UBC Social Health Lab, Dr. Andrew Baron and Anthea Pun from the Living Lab at Science World, and Dr. Wendy Hall from the UBC School of Nursing.
