How will I go about this inquiry?
As visual arts shifts its focus off of skills and into student-relevant risk taking, exploration and reflection, these values should be reflected in my assessment method. However, as identity exploration is intangible, the assessment of it must stem from my own perception and understanding of the fragments of proof that are personally tangible and of value. For this reason, the narrative inquiry method is the most suitable to create a three-dimensional narrative inquiry space, contextualizing evaluations of the values i see in different assessment methods in a self reflective way, while simultaneously absorbing the feedback and reaction of the classroom environment.
