InSEA 2019 FINAL Program and a few more details

InSEA 2019 FINAL Program

Attached is the link to the FINAL revision of the InSEA 2019 Program (July 9, 2019).  We made a few important corrections – including room numbers and details concerning the Museum of Anthropology (with your name badge, you will receive $2.00 off the admission fee.).

  • Please upload the final version of the InSEA 2019 Program (and thank you for deleting any previous versions). There will be no more electronic updates during the World Congress.  Here is the link:  https://www.insea2019.org/program

Please take a moment to come to the Audain Art Centre first and third floor lobbies:

  • On the first floor, InSEA 2019 volunteers are here to assist you with any questions from way finding and technical assistance to places to eat and visit – both on campus and in Vancouver.
  • On the third floor, enjoy a refreshment break, visit the Exhibition Hall (check out the latest in art supplies, books and resources) and of course, visit and participate in the Ongoing Making Workshops, as well as many of the MW sessions that are in the Schedule from A-T.

A quick note to presenters:

  • Please remember to bring your computer and adapter to the room where you will be presenting. If time permits, check out the room in advance of your session.  Or – perhaps notice the technical set-up for those who are presenting in a similar room to yours yet earlier in the schedule.
  • If you are presenting in one of the rooms at the Museum of Anthropology, they have asked that you also bring your presentation on a USB drive. This will facilitate their offering of technical assistance for each session.
  • Finally, if you are offering a Short Visual Presentation (SVP), regardless of location – consider saving it on a USB and loading all presentations on one computer – perhaps, the first one who is scheduled to speak.

Staying Connected and the Keynotes:

  • Information with regard to staying connected and streaming the Keynotes from Wednesday to Saturday (including overflow space in FE 1128 and FE 1130), can be found here: https://www.insea2019.org/stayingconnected

Visit the art exhibitions:

  • There are a number of amazing art exhibitions happening during InSEA 2019. Read about them in the InSEA 2019 Program and visit one with friends!  Check it out on pages 39-40 of the InSEA 2019 Program.
