In this learning lab, students will be exposed to different strategies for coping with homesickness and tips on managing stress caused by being far away from home. You will also have access to information regarding wellness options at UBC and in your community.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Who, what, why and where \u2013 you, what you want to achieve with your session and who your audience is!
\n\u2022 The nitty gritty \u2013 hands-on practical stuff that you\u2019ll be able to apply in your design and delivery.
\n\u2022 Building a great session \u2013 how to build a framework and learning outcomes for each section and suggestions and tools on how to have a successful experience from start to finish!
\n\u2022 Choose your own adventure \u2013 pick from the skills you want to develop: public speaking, creative ways to lead a discussion and effective debriefing.<\/p>\n

This is also great advanced training if you are planning to apply for the Student Leadership Conference coming in January<\/strong>(deadline to apply October 12th by the way!).<\/p>\n
