The successful and effective implementation of any piece of assistive technology is a complex process that involves careful and thorough thinking and planning. SET-BC (Special Education Technology – British Columbia) describes the implementation process as being:

Involving a team of individuals including the student, parent(s), classroom teacher, learning support teacher, special education assistants, district support staff (Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Behaviour specialists etc.) and school administrators.
