Whether it\u2019s Mac, iOS devices, For Leadership, In the Classroom or Professional Development, it\u2019s on there. There are Getting Started PDF files, Learning Labs, etc. It is an excellent resource to have when using the iPad in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li><a style=\"font-style: normal; line-height: 24px;\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/ade.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-184 alignleft\" style=\"margin-top: 0.4em;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/ade.jpg\" width=\"251\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a>Apple also features a section featuring &#8220;Apple Distinguished Educators (ADE&#8217;S)&#8221; font-style: normal;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/Learning-in-Hand.png\" width=\"151\" height=\"167\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On the website <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/learninginhand.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Learning In Hand<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, Tony Vincent has created an online resource about mobile learning. \u00a0It includes an extensive amount of information on how to use mobile devices for educational purposes. \u00a0Information is updated regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shambles.net\/pages\/learning\/ict\/ipad\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Only the iPad <\/span><\/a><\/strong>is a website geared towards locating additional resources about iPad use in the classroom. \u00a0It includes a link to iPad Communities on Google+, a document on the 15 iPad skills every teacher and student should have, iPad introductory guides and much more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-51 alignright\" style=\"color: #333333; font-style: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-top: 0.4em;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/Apps-and-Autism.png\" width=\"326\" height=\"174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/Apps-and-Autism.png 544w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/Apps-and-Autism-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/Apps-and-Autism-500x266.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipodsibilities.com\/iPodsibilities\/AppsAndAutism.html\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Apps and Autism<\/span><\/a><\/strong> provides extensive lists of apps and learning tools geared towards ASD students, as well as resources about using the iPads effectively. \u00a0The site also provides links to success stories and articles surrounding the use of iPads for special needs students<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/iprep.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-54\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/iprep.png\" width=\"120\" height=\"44\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>iPrep<\/strong> provides links to various audio and video literature study guides. \u00a0These ebooks can be used with an eReader on the iPad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.canby.k12.or.us\/groups\/ipodusergroup\/\" target=\"_blank\">The iPad User Group Wiki<\/a><\/strong> provides a support for the use of iPod and iPad devices in K-12 educational settings. \u00a0It features research projects and classroom activities, how-to articles, and video examples of successful implementation<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/teachers-with-apps.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-182\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/teachers-with-apps.png\" width=\"922\" height=\"100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/teachers-with-apps.png 922w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/teachers-with-apps-300x32.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/teachers-with-apps-500x54.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 922px) 100vw, 922px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/teacherswithapps.com\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>\u00a0Teachers with Apps<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is a website set up to specifically help sort through the vast numbers of education apps being released daily. \u00a0Each app that is reviewed on the site is field-tested with students and teachers and are assessed based on their promotion of deeper learning and alignment with learning outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-189\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/angela.png\" width=\"209\" height=\"143\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholastic<\/strong> also has numerous contributing teachers who discuss iPads and apps in the classroom. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scholastic.com\/teachers\/post\/there%E2%80%99s-app-using-ipads-support-literacy-instruction-classroom\" target=\"_blank\">Angela Bunyi<\/a> from Tennessee is one of these educators. \u00a0She has suggested numerous ways to use iPads to support literacy instruction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/aiu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-192 alignright\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ipadsforliteracylearning\/files\/2013\/06\/aiu.png\" width=\"145\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/assistivetechaiu.wikispaces.com\/iPad+and+iPod\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Assistive Technology AIU<\/span><\/a><\/strong> (from Pennsylvania) provides a wiki with a wealth of information about using the iPad as AT. \u00a0The wiki includes recommended apps and articles of interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-229\" style=\"border-color: #bbbbbb;
